Brain Lies will be signing his most recent picture book, Cat Nap, with a Subaru wrapped in Cat Nap illustrations topped with a 3-D picture frame and other fun surprises. Take a selfie with it!
Cat Nap is a masterpiece itself. Lies takes readers, via a cat’s nap, on an epic journey through art, time, and history. He replicated ten pieces of art from the Metropolitan Museum of Art featured in the book. He even learned to bend wood to make frames, create clay sculptures, and carve plaster!
Lies will be doing a reading and signing books, as well as displaying the original art, along with other fun activities. Space for the story time and demonstration is limited; register here. A book signing will follow at 2:00 p.m.
