Calling all story-loving, curious, and creative kids! Brewster Book Store’s Kids-Create Story-time is designed with children’s inquisitive nature and imagination in mind. We have paired some of our favorite books with hands-on activities that are enriching and, most importantly, fun.
The experience is geared toward children 5-8 years old. Parents are welcome to explore the bookstore if their children are comfortable with them doing so; however, we request that parents remain on the premises during the event. Three and four year olds are invited to attend with an adult chaperone. Advance registration on Eventbrite is highly suggested.

Mr. Rabbit loves his quiet life of reading books, watering his plants, and cleaning the house. When he unexpectedly meets Mr. Carrot, Mr. Rabbit is not happy with Mr. Carrot’s exuberance. Mr. Rabbit becomes quite agitated with Mr. Carrot’s constant presence and tries to get rid of him. However, with each new shared experience, Mr. Rabbit realizes that he enjoys having Mr. Carrot around—a wonderfully funny story about the magic of making new friends.
