Calling all story-loving, curious, and creative kids! Brewster Book Store’s Kids-Create Story-time is designed with children’s inquisitive nature and imagination in mind. We have paired some of our favorite books with hands-on activities that are enriching and, most importantly, fun.
The experience is geared toward children 5-8 years old. Parents are welcome to explore the bookstore if their children are comfortable with them doing so; however, we request that parents remain on the premises during the event. Three and four year olds are invited to attend with an adult chaperone. Advance registration on Eventbrite is highly suggested.

Learn about pollinators in this charming story of a boy who wants nothing to do with icky bugs. However, in Science class, he is matched up with Mellie, a little girl who loves pollinators!! Mellie shows the boy how interesting and important pollinators are.
Activity: We will make pollinators using toilet paper rolls. Choose between a bee, butterfly, or ladybug…or make all three!
