The Brewster Ladies’ Library Association has announced that acclaimed author and journalist Geraldine Brooks will be the featured speaker for the Frances Mapes Nickerson Memorial Lecture, rescheduled to Saturday, October 14 at 7pm. Geraldine Brooks is known for her immersive, character-driven historical novels. Her most recent novel, Horse (published in 2022), is a current New York Times bestseller.

Books will be provided by The Brewster Book Store.
