Each year, legendary author James Patterson contributes $250,000 to be awarded in $500 amounts to 500 independent booksellers across the United States. One of our team members, Leslie Jennings, was selected, and we cannot imagine a better recipient for the James Patterson Holiday Bookstore Bonus!! 

Leslie has been a bookseller at Brewster Book Store for 10 years and has been in the book business since the late ‘90s. This year, she agreed to take on the role of Book Buyer. Since June, she has been keeping our store stocked with a wonderful, broad selection of books while also overseeing staffing and daily operations. We are delighted to have her on our team and thrilled that she got chosen as a Patterson award recipient.

We are tweaking our hours this week.

On Wednesday, in honor of the Winter Solstice, we will be keeping our doors open until 7pm. From 5-7pm, enjoy
